Sammy Adjei Junior is a New Jersey native from Bloomfield, NJ. He played soccer professionally for the New York Red Bulls, Naestved Boldklub in Denmark, and Hawkes Bay United in New Zealand. He has also represented the Team U.S.A U-14 and U-18 National teams as well as the Ghana u-20 National Team.

Sammy is currently the Head Women’s Soccer at NCAA D II Program, Bloomfield College. He is also Head Coach of the New Jersey Olympic Development Program’s U-14 team. In addition, Sammy is the College Pathway Director for Soccer For Life Millburn. Sammy comes with over 10 years of experience in youth sports. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Marketing at Iona College(NY)  where he was an NCAA All-American in 2012 and team captain. Prior to that, Sammy played for New Jersey high school’s soccer powerhouse St.Benedict’s Prep in Newark, NJ where he won a state championship in 2009 and was ranked TopDrawerSoccer Top 100 high school soccer players in the country. 

Sammy also has an MBA in Sports Management from Rider University. He is the owner of Soccer Virtuoso, an elite soccer training company located in NJ and in Ghana. The brand has over 12 NCAA D 1 athletes, several top high schools and middle school soccer players in the Northern NJ area, as well as 6 professional soccer players in Ghana, Denmark, and the United States. Sammy has a great passion for youth sports and believes the values learned through youth sports will create great leaders of tomorrow.
